Located in a suburb of North Houston, called Conroe, near The Woodlands, is a grand hotel. It is near Sam Houston university, and some upscale businesses, but not much in the way of dining or shopping. What makes this hotel so nice is the modern design of the hotel, and the mix of green space and trees that surround the property.
The Room
I was actually upgraded to their premium suites on their 3rd floor. It was a magnificent room. I would say it was every bit as delightful as a Hyatt Centric, or even a low-end Park Hyatt. I was astonished with the views of the pool from my windows, the ample space and large TV screens that allowed me to eat room service while watching some HGTV.
The room has 2 separate bathrooms, and the shower is very impressive. There was also a fridge to store things, and lots of beautiful modern design pieces. I certainly wouldn’t mind staying here, right?
Breakfast
The breakfast was superb. In fact, I am sure this menu was very similar to the Park Hyatt in Toronto.

With that being said, I loved the Oatmeal and Pancakes. I also had a cappuccino and that was also delicious.
Service
The service was impeccable. The check in experience was fast, the room service as well. They got my order completely right, and the waiter for breakfast was also spectacular.
I have nothing to complain about here.

If I had to give this place a score it would get:

From the remarkable presentation, to the excellent food and service. I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. I mean this is a Hyatt Regency, not some luxury hotel. But it felt pretty close.
