This post is about a lovely hotel on Seattle’s Eastside called the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. It’s a Category 4, so I was able to use some free night certificates thanks to the World of Hyatt card (You get a free night certificate every cardmember year and for every $5000 you spend on the card).

Location

Located in Downtown Seattle, about 30 minutes away from the SeaTac airport, the hotel is in a beautiful mall area called Lincoln Square. There is great food nearby at the Tavern food hall. We had some Boba, and Korean street eats here, it was excellent!

We made our way to some of the naturally beautiful areas, such as the Bellevue Park and the Maydenbaur Bay. Furthermore, we could see a man swim in 60 degree waters up and down the Bay as if it were a brisk workout in South Beach. He may not be the hero we wanted, but he was, in fact, the hero we needed.

The Room

We got ourselves a newly renovated King bedroom, upgraded to a high floor thanks to my globalist status. It was a nice size, with a desk, sofa, and massive TV. The bed itself was a little too stiff for my liking, but Hyatt really knows how to make some soft pillows. I slept great every night. The AC in the room was chilly, and the bathroom was a standard category 4 restroom. No Bidet, but I can’t hold it against this place.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served at a restaurant called Eques. It’s latin for “Horseman” and serves as the base of the word Equestrian, a person who rides horses. Take that for what you will, but the restaurant was as charming and gallant as any knight Iv’e ever seen. You have 2 options for breakfast, either a Fantastic Buffet option with plenty of meat and hot food selections, or some truly inspired offerings from their menu. I did both, and can say you cannot go wrong either way.

Overall Score

Overall, I’d rank this hotel a 5/5 just for its location alone. But its breakfast was truly great, the service was magnificent. And I have a feeling, even if I was paying full fare to stay here, I’d love it. Highly recommend.
